This guide will go over the steps you'll need to take to get your IONOS domain connected to your Hubflo Client Portal in no time!

1) Adding Your Custom Domain to Hubflo

To set up your custom domain, go to Settings > General Settings > Domain and enter the custom domain you'd like your Hubflo Client Portal to live on.

e.g., portal.yourdomain.com or clients.yourdomain.com (...)

Setting Up Your Custom Domain

2) Adding a CNAME Record in IONOS

  1. Log into your IONOS account.
    ​

  2. Navigate to the domains section of the account. Next to your custom domain, click on the gear symbol and choose "manage subdomains"

  3. Click the + Add Record Button:

3. Choose "CNAME" from the list of records:

  • Host Name:

    • portal (if you'd like to use a root domain like portal.yourdomain.com)

    • OR

    • client, www, etc. (depending on the subdomain you'd like to use, such as clients.yourdomain.com)

  • Target: portal.hubflo.com (this is the exact value you need to add) Do NOT change this to anything else or it will not work 🙂

  • TTL:

    • You can use the automatic setting here.

Click the "Save" button and confirm the change on the next screen.
