When setting up your Client Portal on Hubflo, you'll see the option to use either a custom domain or a Hubflo subdomain. This guide walks you through how to connect your Namecheap domain in a few quick steps.

What you’ll need before you start

  • A registered Namecheap domain (e.g. yourdomain.com)

  • An active Hubflo subdomain (e.g. yourcompany.hubflo.com)

  • Hubflo Plus Plan

Add Your Custom Domain in Hubflo

  1. In Hubflo, go to Settings → General Settings/Domain

  2. Click Edit domain

  3. Enter your custom domain (e.g. portal.yourdomain.com) in the Custom domain field and click Next

Add a CNAME Record in Namecheap

Go to namecheap.com and click Domain List in the left-hand menu.

  1. Find your domain and click Manage

  2. Click the Advanced DNS tab

  3. Scroll to the Host Records section

  4. Click + Add New Record

Choose the following values:

  • Type: CNAME Record

  • Host:

    • Use portal, client, www, etc. (based on the subdomain you want, like portal.yourdomain.com)

  • Value / Target: portal.hubflo.com (this must be exact)

  • TTL: Automatic (or choose the lowest option)

📌 Important Notes:

  • Do not include your full domain in the Host field (e.g., just write portal, not portal.yourdomain.com)

  • Make sure no other CNAME, A, or URL redirect records exist for the same subdomain—only one record per host is allowed

Click Save All Changes to apply your DNS updates.

Note: Changes take effect immediately in Namecheap, but DNS propagation can take up to 30–60 minutes.
