Let Clients Sign Up to Your Portal (No Invite Needed)

Want to make it easier for clients to get started? You can turn on self-signup, so clients can create their own workspace.

  • Clients can sign up directly—no email invite needed.

  • A new workspace is auto-created using your default template.

  • The workspace name is pulled from their company name, or full name if signing up as an individual.

It’s a seamless way to scale client onboarding, especially for services with a high volume of clients.

How to Turn On Self-Signup

  1. Head to Settings > General settings / Domain

  2. Toggle on "Allow clients to signup without being invited"


​That’s it! A Sign up button appears on your client portal login page.

Tip: Use a branded domain (like clients.yourcompany.com) for a more polished first impression. Learn how to set up a custom domain →


Want to Turn It Off?

Just head back to Settings > General settings / Domain and toggle off "Allow clients to signup without being invited."
