This guide will go over the steps you'll need to take to get your Namecheap domain connected to your Hubflo Client Portal in no time!

In this article:

1) Adding Your Custom Domain to Hubflo

To set up your custom domain, go to Settings > General Settings > Domain and enter the custom domain you'd like your Hubflo Client Portal to live on.

e.g., portal.yourdomain.com or clients.yourdomain.com (...)

2) Adding a CNAME Record in Namecheap

  1. Login to Namecheap and navigate to your Domain List.

  2. Locate the domain you'd like to use, and click the Manage button.

3. On following page, click on the Advanced DNS tab, and choose +Add New Record.

4. In the form that appears, choose CNAME from the dropdown, and add the values listed below.

  • Name:

    • portal (if you'd like to use a root domain like portal.yourdomain.com)

    • OR

    • client, www, etc. (depending on the subdomain you'd like to use, such as clients.yourdomain.com)

  • Target:

portal.hubflo.com (this is the exact value you need to add). Do NOT change this to anything else or it will not work 🙂

  • TTL:

    • You can use the automatic setting here.

After all of this information is input, click the green checkmark ✅ then choose Save All Changes to save your changes!
