🚀 What’s new with task comments?

  • We’re excited to announce that you and your clients can now add comments directly to tasks! This feature is designed to improve both internal collaboration and client interactions seamlessly.

  • Whether you need approval on a file or want to update your client about a task's progress, simply use the comment section for efficient communication. Comments provide a structured way to discuss details specific to a task.

  • How can clients interact with comments?

When a task is visible in the client’s portal workspace, they can view and interact with all the comments associated with that task. To initiate this, create a task, assign it to the client, and they can start commenting right away, providing an integrated way to gather feedback and approvals.

  • What enhancements are coming to the commenting feature?

We are continuously working to enhance your experience. Soon, you can look forward to mentions, rich text formatting, and the ability to attach files in comments.

  • How do notifications work for comments?

Notifications ensure that everyone relevant stays informed:

  • Clients receive an email notification when they create or are assigned to a task that has a new comment.

  • You and your team are notified via email when a client comments on a task you’ve created, are assigned to, or is linked to a project/account you own.

When adding a comment, Hubflo clearly displays who will be notified, ensuring transparency and effective communication:

  • Visibility and notifications—what should I know?

Visibility is straightforward: if you can see the task, you can see its comments. If a task is visible on a client’s portal, the client can view all related comments.
Notifications are sent to the task creator, assignees, and project owners (if linked to a project), regardless of whether they are clients or internal users.

🤗 We value your feedback! Have questions or suggestions about this new feature? Don’t hesitate to reach out and share your thoughts.
