Airtable isn’t just a spreadsheet. It’s a flexible, database-style tool that can power a lot of client-facing workflows. Embedding it in your Hubflo portal allows clients to view or interact with live, structured data without needing an Airtable account or opening new tabs.

Here are some common reasons service businesses embed Airtable:

  • Project Dashboards. Display a live project tracker, timeline, or content calendar so clients can stay updated in real time.

  • File or Asset Libraries. Use Airtable as a sortable, filterable catalog of brand assets, documents, or deliverables.

  • Reporting & KPIs. Create a shareable base showing campaign metrics, progress reports, or any custom performance data.

Get Sharable Link in Airtable

To get started, go to your Airtable home and find the base you'd like to share.

  1. Click the 3-dot menu > Share base.

  2. Choose one of the following:

    • Create a shareable link, or

    • Enable public access (if you want the view to be visible to anyone with the link).

  3. Copy the shared link.

Embed the Airtable base in Your Portal

To get started go to the client or workspace template.

  1. Click on “Embed”

  2. Paste the public URL into the field

  3. When adding an Embed, you can customize the way it appears:

  • Display Mode
Choose how your app or content is shown:

    • Inline – Embed it directly into the workspace

    • Full Page – Open it in a dedicated tab for more space

And that’s it! Your Airtable base will now appear embedded in the portal.

How to Edit an Embedded Airtable Base

  1. Find your embedded Airtable base in the Client Portal.

  2. Click the 3-dot menu > Edit.

3. From there, you can:

  • Edit the title

  • Update the URL

  • Change the display mode

  • Add or update the icon

  • Add tags

  • Link the page to contacts or projects

  • Add it to your library for future reuse

  • Delete it

Set Up Embeds Across All Workspaces

If you want an embedded app to appear automatically across all your client workspaces, you can add it as a Global Item.

Global Items make it easy to maintain consistency—perfect for onboarding videos, company updates, or shared calendars.
