You can now send a single Smartdoc to multiple parties for review and signature — all in one flow! Here’s how it works 👇
How it works for you
1. Add multiple parties to your Smartdoc template
When creating or editing a Smartdoc template, you can now add several parties (Client, Second Party, Third Party, etc.) and rename them as needed.
2. Assign fields to each party
Add the required fields (signatures, text, dates, etc.) for each party in the document.
3. Send the Smartdoc for completion
Once your template is ready, click “Send”.
You’ll be asked to choose a contact from your directory for each party.
4. Track the status of each party
In the completions tab:
You’ll now see a progress icon (e.g. 🖊️ “2/4”) showing how many parties have completed the document.
Clicking on it gives you detailed info for each signer (Completed / Pending).
Clicking on the Smartdoc name opens a sidebar where you can see each party’s answers and signature status.
5. Resend pending Smartdocs easily
If a Smartdoc is still pending, you can copy its link and share it again — via chat in a workspace or by email, for example.
What your clients see
Clients receive an email invitation to complete the document.
If they have access to the Client Portal, they’ll also see the Smartdoc there.
The document will stay in “Pending” status until all parties have completed their parts.
Once everyone has signed, the final completed Smartdoc becomes available for download.
💡 Tips
You can add several parties to your Smartdoc — and even create more if needed! Don’t forget to rename them.
You can link Smartdoc fields with your Hubflo native or custom fields.
