This article walks you through setting up the integration so your tasks, comments, and updates flow smoothly between platforms.
Connect Your ClickUp Account
Before you get started, find your API Key, you’ll need it to authorize the connection.
In Hubflo, go to ⚙️Settings > Integrations
Scroll to the bottom of the page
Click to generate and copy your API key
Find the ClickUp integration and click Activate
Click Connect
You'll be prompted to log in to your ClickUp account and choose a workspace.
Configure ClickUp Workflows
Once connected, click on Configuration.
Paste the URL of your Hubflo client portal
Select the ClickUp workspace that contains your client folders or lists
Hubflo<>ClickUp Workflows
Once your integration is set up, you'll find the following options:
When a comment is added to a ClickUp task → Post it as a comment on the linked Hubflo task.
Push ClickUp tasks from lists inside a folder to the matching Hubflo workspace. You must set the custom field "Hubflo workspace" on each task in ClickUp for it to be routed correctly.
When a client comments in Hubflo → The comment is posted to the linked ClickUp task.
Note: Tasks are automatically closed in Hubflo when they reach the designated ClickUp stage. Use this for intermediary stages such as “In Progress” or “On Hold.”
When a task status is updated in ClickUp → The integration updates the corresponding tag in Hubflo to reflect the change.
