Import projects into Hubflo

Learn how to import projects into Hubflo in bulk, including how to link them to contacts, set dates, and ensure your stages are set up correctly.

Written by Hubflo Team

Importing projects lets you bring your existing work into Hubflo in bulk, complete with key details like dates, values, and contact associations, and Hubflo will create each project for you automatically.

Before you start

Keep these requirements in mind before preparing your import file:

  • To link a project to a contact, the contact must already exist in your Hubflo Directory.

  • Project boards and stages must already exist in Hubflo. If a board and stage in your file doesn't match existing ones, Hubflo will place the project on the first board and first stage by default.

Set up your custom fields in Hubflo (Optional)

Hubflo comes with standard fields like location, start and end date. But if you track other details, like a client's region, you'll want to create those fields in Hubflo before you import. This way, your data goes exactly where it should.
