You can now collaborate on tasks with your clients directly in your workspaces in order to:

  • Collect and track client requests effortlessly.

  • Set up an onboarding to-do list for your clients to help them get started smoothly.

  • Give clients visibility on the progress of a project. You can even create milestones to celebrate each step forward together!

1 - How do I create tasks in a workspace?

Creating tasks in a workspace shared with your client is a simple process:

  • Navigate to the shared workspace with your client(s).

  • Click on the "Tasks" section on the left menu.

Start creating a new task :

1a. The Kanban View

If your workspace is linked to a project, the Kanban view will be available.

You can go to your settings in the “Client Portal” section to choose the default display of your tasks in the client portal.

🚨 As a reminder, within a project you can organise your tasks using sections Organize your projects with sections

The columns in the kanban view correspond to the different sections you have created in the project.

If your workspace is not linked to a project, then the only view available will be the list view.

This is the Kanban view of your workspace:

🚨 It is not possible to drag & drop tasks from the client portal in the same way as projects.

→ To change the order of the columns and the organisation of the tasks: go directly to the project sheet.

2 - How can I collaborate with my clients on tasks?

You can assign tasks to clients and work together seamlessly:

  • Start creating a new task.

  • You have the flexibility to assign it to one or more members of your team, as well as to one or more of your clients active in the workspace :

3 - Notifications: Keeping Everyone in the Loop

Notifications are designed to keep both you and your client informed about task progress:

    • Client's Owner Notifications:

      • Task Completed by Client: You'll receive an email when your client completes a task.

      • Task Added by Client: You'll get notified when your client creates a new task.

      Client Notifications:

      • New Task Assigned: Your clients will receive an email when a new task is assigned to them.Client’s Owner Notifications:

      • Task Due Date: To keep things organized, emails are grouped. For instance, if there are three tasks due on the same day, your client will receive one email summarizing these tasks.

Important notes:

  • Each portal workspace has its own shared task board

  • The "task" tab won't be visible to clients unless you create one task

  • You get notified by email when clients create or complete tasks

  • Clients get notified by email at the set due date of a task
