# Reset or change your password (Clients)

Learn how to reset or change your client portal password.

There are two ways to update your password depending on your situation.

- If you're **logged out and can't remember your password**, you can reset it from the sign-in page.

- If you're **already logged in and just want to change it**, you can update it directly from your account settings.

## Reset your password from the log in page

1. Go to your portal's sign-in page and click **Log in**

2. Enter your email address and click **Reset password**

3. Click **Reset password** again to confirm

4. If your email is registered in the portal, you'll receive a password reset email

5. Open the email and click **Reset password**

6. Enter your new password and confirm it

7. Click **Change my password**

You're all set! Log in with your new password.

## Update your password from the portal settings

Use this method if you're already logged in.

1. Click your name in the bottom-left corner of the portal

2. Enter your new password

3. Enter your current password to confirm

4. Click **Update**

## Didn’t receive the reset email?

1. **Wait a few minutes, then check your spam or junk folder.** The email comes from hello@hubflo.com.

2. **Make sure you started from your portal’s sign-in page.** Use the link your service provider shared with you (for example, [_yourcompany.hubflo.com_](https://yourcompany.hubflo.com) or their own domain), not the Hubflo admin sign-in page.

3. **Use the email address your invitation was sent to.** The reset email is only sent if the address matches the one your provider registered. If you use more than one email address, try another one.

4. **Request a new link if yours expired.** Reset links expire after 24 hours.

**Need more help?** Contact your service provider.
